NMSU

New Mexico State University is the only land grant univ. in the  state of New Mexico!
( I didn't know what that meant so apparently, according to wikipedia, it is land granted to a state for a college of agriculture/science/engineering, as per the Merrill Acts of blah blah...)

The NMSU main campus and the community college, Dona Ana Community College, are located on the south side of Las Cruces between Interstate-25 and Interstate-10. NMSU opened in 1889 as the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts and received its current name in 1960. It is the second largest 4 year university in New Mexico and has campuses in Alamogordo, Grants, and Carlsbad. It's total enrollment is 18,497 and offers degrees ranging from Agriculture to Nursing to Engineering to Music to you name it, we got it. BTW its has super cute campus too!

NMSU is a grade A agri-school so the campus has huge trees and sprawling lawns and ponds. It recently has completed renovations in many buildings keeping with the old spanish mission style. The new Barnes&Nobel bookstore store will open in August 2011 and the new NMSU performing arts complex is starting to go up.

Lots of renovations going on! NMSU Getting her pretty on.
